"You pull, you tank" is a bad mentality

As a tank myself, it's a terrible mentality to have that just wastes time. It is best to put aside one's ego and do what needs to be done.

For a veteran tank, certainly. A veteran tank should be capable of handling it.

I would never expect a novice tank to do it when they're still learning their abilities. Trial by fire learning may work for some but many do not do well under those circumstances. Far better for the entire group to work with the tank than insist the tank take more than they are prepared to handle.
