The reason I stepped into this thread was to support others who felt the same as I do and make it clear that not all of us are happy, and to speak out against those telling us our feelings aren't valid or what we're seeing doesn't exist

It's a negative review on a forum, akin to a 1 star review on a yelp page or a not recommended on a steam page. There isn't much difference in my eyes.

You're welcome to do whatever you want, it doesn't bust my bones at the end of the day. I was also here trying to let ya'll know that unless something major is done or someone takes the reigns on keeping this discussion alive and pushing it to the actual majority of the community, this thread will be buried in a couple of days and then what?

The new models are a massive improvement for me. I play an Elezen and no way in hell do I want to go back to the busted old models.

I think the models are a massive improvement, and honestly many of the expressions just felt... Empty in the older form.

I cannot get behind reverting them, but they definitely could do with expanding the options at the very least.

I despise the new models. There should've been an opt-out. I genuinely would've been fine with other characters looking HD while mine looks "inferior". What a terrible change. Another thing I hate is how people who are fine with the new looks chastise other who aren't. Those people love the game as much as you do, that's why they're upset. Genuinely demoralising how a minority's concerns just get buried like this. People who are not fine with the change have every right to complain.

I would fall in love again with this game if they'd allow people to use their real look and make everyone choose between OG and DT that would make me fall in love with the game again

That was just such a great idea, I wonder if Yoshida and dev team ever read any of this stuff because this would make everyone SO FREAKING happy

We never asked to destroy the game like this, so many years being so perfectly good and now is pure sad and irritating to play with these cartoonish, foolish, emotionless and lifeless models

No matter what they do and how good they do it, some people will complain (and feel their opinion is shared by the community after a couple of upvotes, but it's clearly not, forums are the home of confirmation bias) and you happen to be in the unhappy lot.

As a Viera I was scared and the first version was awful, but since then, in a neutral environment, I've only seen people not caring or pleased with the new models.

I love my update, and have stated this before.

While a vast majority of the complaints I have seen here seem to be over very minor issues, I did see some characters here and there that look like different people. I do feel bad for those players, given how attached we can be to our characters.

Hopefully some new customization options can help in the future, or they grow to love their new looks.
