FFXIV Dawntrail reviews are out on Metacritic

People can go on Metacritic and see for themselves that most of the negative reviews are not touching on culture war topics, in fact the majority do not even mention the VA.

Its very clear looking at the 0 scores its being review bombed.

0 is a valid score. If it wasn't then it wouldn't be an option to use. If people are leaving 0s, then maybe they feel it is deserved and they want their voice heard. A review bomb is articially inflating reviews that are not real people. These are real people who have been that dissapointed right?

Have you read the 0 scores? Also review bombing is when a large number of people, or even a few people with multiple accounts, post negative reviews in an attempt to harm the sales or popularity of a product, a service, or a business. No fake people involved.

I agree this part being review bombing (what I posted above). But I also think there are people who have seen the entertainment industry being taken over many times in the same way. Marvel, Star Wars and many others. It just doesn't surprise me if there are people really feeling that the game is going to go in a bad direction and want it to stop because they have seen it before. There are probably legitimate reviews mixed in with these multi-account people you are talking about.

I want to add that anything that is successful seems to fall victim to the same trends given enough time, especially if they need money from the US.

I'll add that aside from the obvious spam of the "woke" and "sbi" nonsense I share the opinion that the story was subpar and the VA for Wuk left much to be desired but a review bomb is a review bomb and sometimes it does some good. Just look at Helldivers 2.
