[Xbox] Game Crashes in loading transitions

Adding to this -- my Xbox version on Series S has also had this constant issue. Freezing up during black-screen loading transitions; loading spin icon frozen and everything, forcing me to quit to Home and close the game. I locked up twice right at 6-7 a.m. Eastern on the 28th, forcing me to pop back into pretty hefty server queues.

I gave up and tried again later last night around 9-11 p.m. but also hit it several times. I ended up switching Data Servers off from my home world to Dynamis just to avoid long login queues when the game crashes, which is a pretty bad solution. Not sure if I'm going to be able to actually get through a dungeon at this rate.

Disabling or enabling "Don't Show Players Near Quest NPCs" doesn't seem to affect the rate it happens on my system, since it's happened both with and without.

Fix this, please! Or give me a free PC version since that's the only version of the game I can play, but I didn't buy DT on my PC since it's a potato.

Like others have said, as soon as I turned it off I was able to load into a dungeon for the first time since DT released. Cant promise you won’t have a random freeze and it could be because less players are on right now, but I’m counting this as a win until they do a hotfix.

Chiming in. What was an only once yesterday while playing several hours is now 5 times in an hour today!

Loading screen for new area will hitch, almost unnoticeable unless watching, and loading animation will slightly pause before music cuts out and then freeze. Have to quit application and start over.

I've NEVER had it turned on and the issue is still happening.

Area and coordinates: Area transitions

Steps:
Game locks on area transitions.
This even happens when transitioning to a low-population zone (e.g. from one area of an instanced dungeon to another area in that same dungeon).
This can happen with transitions between adventure areas, loading dungeons/raids/trials, loading cut scenes and even using aetheryte travel from one part of a city to another. The loading circle freezes, the music stops and the game is unresponsive.

Connection Specs
- Type of internet connection/provider: Fibre, 300Mbps down, 100Mbps up. Connection tests found no connectivity issues or lost packets.
- Modem maker/model number: Huawei DN8245X6-10

Xbox Series of the console you are using

Yeah but since yesterday they shared no new information. Xbox seems not a priority for them. Imagine what would happen if that happened to Ps or pc. The problem would be fixed in no time or at least better communicated on how it’s going.

I can get around that wild ??? chat censorship bug, wich is also a thing square has to fix at some point, but if they don’t fix this crash problem I won’t extend my sub. I already bought the game twice, only to move from my older pc to my Xbox. Not going to buy Dawntrail for my pc, just to see how bad it runs.
We already pay for 2 different subs. Ultimate gamepass has plenty other games to play.

I understand that new expansion and patch can cause problems. I understand that some problems will take time to fix. Maybe need another patch, wich also has to go through Microsoft verification process and so on.

Again the least they can do is to communicate with us. Don’t they have any community manager or so? No communications sounds always like we don’t care about you.

we need to be patient, they know the isue, you can send a mail to report the continuos freeze, a ticket, that way they now the problem its not solved, and if im not wrong, they are working on the Syrcus Tower Problem that freeze the instance when a boos does his mechanic. so be patient the isue gona be fixed, this morning i disabled all the player and npc new graphics option and played fine, for almost one and a half hour.

Yes, I have to agree with the quote above that SE needs to be more transparent about this issue.
They are continuesly communicating on the other issues they encountered, including making posts on social media about them, however the Xbox issue was only acknowledged in this one Lodestone post and that was it.

I fully understand that fixing the issue takes time, and that is all fine from my point of view, but they have to communicate better, give people a somewhat ETA on when a fix for this issue can be expected and how they plan to compensate for the lost game time that everyone has been paying for. (Especially around an expansion launch)
I feel like it would have been smarter to have the graphics upgrade and engine update as a pre-patch ahead of the expansion, instead of with it... Could have maybe soften the blow of the issue.

they release a hot fix today, anyone, can confirm if the freeze bug on xbox continue? or they only solved the syrcus tower freezing problem?
