Basically. The poll booths can be found in all major cities in the game, upon login your notified there's a poll going on and your asked to vote. This vote is typically about adding new content or a new skill or new changes. Accounts are regulated to make sure votes can't be manipulated


Typically for a new skill (job) 3 suggestions are offered with a small amount of detail. The players vote based on that and the official jagex videos with further detail and then the highest vote wins. If 2 votes are close like 60/40. Then the second option is also considered.

This system allows developers to get constructive tangible feedback from the community with numbers. If something isn't liked.. its removed. I think the ffxiv devs should add this system to dawntrial because rn it feels very out of touch with the community
Soon as I saw the title I though of RS.

However I do think it's a good idea for player feedback- I've had a few questionnaires over the years but my friends didn't get one from SE. I think they need to hey back in touch with their player base
