7.0 SMN First Impressions

The magia board has been brought up by a lot of people, myself included. The problem though is that if all the primals are just reskin of the others, down to their individual potencies, then isn't it the same atrocity as Solar Bahamut? If they wanted to make summoning more impactful than pure light show, they need to give more fleshed out filler phase with Carbuncle while gathering the aether necessary to summon these primals.

For instance, to summon Ifrit, the summoner needs to enter a phase where they will gather fire-elemental aether. Then to summon Bahamut/Phoenix, you need to have accumulated 3 primal aethers.
