Oh and another thing, I'd like to point out that Golbez is originally a spellcaster, and we all know what gear he wears. I'd also like to point out he is a iirc around 9 ft tall and freaking RIPPED. Gonna try inserting a image from the FF wiki from Dissidia as another example.

(Thumbnail isn't working for me, but clicking on the image opens it up fine in a new tab)

Look at this man, he was a spellcaster in every Dissidia game, even here in XIV, though he's described as a Knight in Black in his intro, we still see him casting spells.

So even Yoshi P's point of plate "not fitting" is proven wrong by the very same game series as XIV! Like c'mon, if this absolute unit of a man clad in armour can be proficient in magic, why can't we wear plate armour too?

As an aside, the need for unlocked glamours goes beyond just letting casters wear plate armor. I personally have no desire to be tanky looking as a healer, but I would love for my Dancer to have access to items outside of the (mostly) ill-fitting Aiming gear. And i know there are other classes out there that would benefit in the same way.

And even for jobs that aren't necessarily lacking options in their available gear, it would just be fun. Glamour is pretty big in XIV, I would love to see all the variety in outfits. It would give people a reason to go back into all those random old dungeons to farm up new gear that's suddenly available to them.
