Gender identity has nothing to do with gendered gear, which you would know if you weren't the sort of person to be posting transphobic dogwhistles about mmo fashion. Women being forced into bikinis, frills, and dresses with no alternative is misogyny, plain and simple.

yeah I think it is egregious that people aren't being allowed to pick between the styles. Or like the fem picto style being the standard and the same for both (The dnc one should just be a two different outfits for every gender to pick between at this point).

The fem DNC one has the same imbalance issues as the male picto, as well as the same "we made a really ugly edit to this model and called it a day bc we just have to make sure women show thigh". The lack of a vest breaks the visual lines caused by the "skirt" parts of the sash in an awkward way, and the female pants just actively look worse without the sheer portion on the dude model.

Also, like. You can accurately say some gear isn't gendered, but that doesn't eliminate that when it happens it always happens in the same way, and it always sucks.

I liked the female DNC one but im female inrl and play female, if you like the fem ver just play a fem avatar, if you like male play male, you're getting at least 1 fantasia.

Picto no belly is super weird and the dancer color change is weird. I actually like the male vest better. I wish we'd gotten that with like a bra.

Personally I like the fem Dancer gear, but I acknowledge that's a preference thing. It doesn't change the fact that I want the option to use the male Dancer gear, too.

I'm just not a fan of any changes in gear, PERIOD.

Just like some like the Caster Immortal Flames Gear, but don't cause the differences between the tops having a bra under or none under the male top.

Standards and expectations change.
That will forever be true.
While the Game is Rated T in the US, and Rated More or less in the same range in other nations.

It still is a grown game for more grown folks.
(Who Should be at an age to know better, if you can't take it, advocate for options or toggles to shut out what you don't want.

We have people who either seriously don't like people's glamour, or the concept of Unlocking All, or Practically All Glamours.

and those who just like to cause trouble who should be shown out the door.

PERMANENTLY, if you can't be reasonable enough to at least discuss options that allow you to play and experience the game as you wish, without interrupting others.)

(The first, is cut and dry and fast, regardless of the jank. The other does the same, but the flip of it, makes it so for those in ARR they look like their ARR job or current gear. While HW is HW AF, SB is SB AF, Shb is Shb AF, EW is EW AF.)

one thing most here don't even think about is how the DT Blacksmith Gear will be changed in the top either.

Be it the Wrappings covering up to the breast/over the nonexistent nipple, or full coverage on the Female Gear. While the Male exists Unchanged(with the male Au Ra example.)

I don't think there's any point in talking to people who spout modern popular terms like "toxic", "misogynic", "transphobic" (and the list goes on and on) at every given opportunity - even if there's none - to show off their hollow and utterly misplaced moral superiority due to a lack of real arguments and healthy communication skills. And the amount of people liking these over-dramatic mic drop statements which rival any prepubertal teen and would-be edge lord/lady throwing a tantrum only - as well as sadly - proves the regression of common sense and basic decency.

Blindly attacking fellow players or - all the more insolent - the dev team with false and defamatory claims like they don't care even though they're clearly making an effort and going far out of their way to appease every little, most trivial whining is beyond ignorant and immature. That they're still listening to these people crying the loudest actually worries me and I WISH they would indeed care less.
