Genderlocked gear. Again.

Can we please either have two sets of armor that we can choose the pieces from or have a toggle to switch between them? The continuation of genderlocked gearsets feels like a slap in the face after all the effort put into un-genderlocking glamour gear.

Agreed. I understand that for some stuff there's some level of difference they'll insist on (female characters aren't gonna get that open vest from the male dancer without a bra or something similar), but the Pictomancer job gear is just... stomach vs not? And the Dancer gear is - while both looking good to me - entirely different tops, and for some reason entirely different colors outside of the pink/purple.

That's exactly it, yeah. I don't mind the obvious small differences like female characters requiring a bra of some sort, but when the shirts are completely different models, I'd prefer the option to swap between them (with those small differences as needed). But there was no reason for them to extend the torso of the Pictomancer top at all.

Traditionally, every DNC male set is black and the female is red... But honestly, color isn't really an issue since you can change it.

God damnit not again. I really hope they add options to wear either version for all armor pieces like this. The male versions of both of these are honestly way worse if you ask me. I'm so tired of appearances being genderlocked for no good reason, and I really hope they add some way to switch between appearances.

I was planning on making one of my alts a Pictomancer, so knowing he's getting worse AF gear for no reason is really disappointing...

THIS! It's just frustrating considering the WAR gear shows midriff but for some reason, they had to go through the effort to make a separate version for male pictomancers. I also personally think the black undershirt darkens the whole design a bit too much, the crop top broke it up well but now it's significantly more bland. With the focus they've had on reducing gender-locked gear, it really is disappointing to see that they're making such minor and easily avoidable differences between the male and female models (not even mentioning the dnc gear which is just... wow). I wish they'd at least have the option to use either one, especially considering that some with female wols would prefer the undershirt as well!

Exactly, my man, but what can I say? SE really wants us to all buy fantasia, or story skips so we can wear it on alts ig. Great way of making money, surely won’t backfire with player base loss

Came here to add my voice to this. I don't even know what the point is to this anymore considering how they had been unlocking the genderlocks on other gear in game. Maybe give us all of the gear pieces so we can pick and choose which look we want? Seems silly otherwise.
