But one of the great examples, and something that I've actually mentioned with the whole 'shield checks' idea (if every healer has a shield method, eg WHM gets Stoneskin, AST gets an equivalent shielding move, then we can have 'shield checks' like Photon from A11S or Vulcan Burst from UWU more often), is in level 50 content: Sastasha Hard. The Crab guy (is it named Cray Claw like the FF5 boss? I don't remember), the one with Tail Screw, he whacks a DOT on you, then Tail Screws you to single digit HP. You as a healer have options on what to do to deal with that. As a WHM for example, you could time a heal to heal the player who is at low HP before the DOT kills them, Esuna the DOT, or shield the player with Stoneskin so that the DOT doesn't hit their 'real HP'. More mechanics like that, where the healer is given several ways to counter the mechanic and they have agency on 'how' to deal with the mechanic, would be appreciated
