Not sure if it counts as a hot take, but I can see how it could be ...inconvenient for a lot of people.

All jobs should be unlocked at 50, like SAM, RDM and BLU (assuming you have the appropriate expansion, of course). Yes, it would suck to level, say, Viper and Picto from lv50 instead of lv80, but it sucks even more for new players/alts to have to go all the way to the end of ShB to even unlock them at all, and it's not like the Ishgard jobs where their trainer location is locked behind the MSQ.

I might even go lower and say level 30. All jobs must have their basics fleshed out as early as level 30, beginner classes, even lower at 15.

But as we all know, PIC and VPR may even start at level 80... so I'm going to expect a lot of "interesting" runs for the first few weeks of DT.
