Why are NPC parties so bad?

Because in casual content damage is so low you can almost entirely rely on your free healing

Between your two free mitigations of expedient and illumination, seraph, blessing, recite indom, union, whispering dawn and embrace you functionally never need to actually use your aetherflow heals.

There would be choice if you still needed to heal beyond that but between the cohealer and the tank you pretty much never actually need to press them, it’s like the “choice” of pressing a GCD heal, you just never need to do it

The skills you mentioned are all 80+ level skills (jftr)

Also the point of my comment wasn't about playing optimally. It was about sch having a choice. A sprout learning sch is more likley going to expend his aetherflow on heals not dps

Recite Indom is 100% a free skill, recitation skips the aetherflow costs of aetherflow skills it can crit so it’s basically a free pnuema every 90 seconds

Below like 70 I agree but there is always a choice below 70 because everyone has a choice because GCD heals are necessary on everyone, in current content SCH rarely needs to actually choose you just have too many free heals in content that the current healing is based on
