Man, I know Yoshi P said he found the concept of NFTs interesting but I think he already stated that NFTs will never make an appearance in FFXIV. That would be an astonishingly tone deaf and unpopular move if the devs added them to the game. What would these hypothetical NFTs even be based on, just artwork of characters? And then they'd sell it on the mogstation? Lmao.

Citizen, I'd request a custom NFT for each one of my Weeaboo Police Troopers. It would be a viable method of raising funds so the Weeaboo Police Department can purchase new weapons and uniforms.

But I'm aware of Square's attempt at making an NFT game called Symbiogenesis and its poor reception.

It was a major failed project for SE and plenty of resources were wasted on that one. What's funny is that SE made the announcement for symbiogenesis as the market for NFTs were already in decline. By that time I believe Steam had already banned NFT games across the board from being distributed by their platform. Yeah... SE was well behind the curve on the NFT stuff.

Upon each Barrier Mountain, Lominsan Engineers have begun construction of the Lalafell Control System (LCS): a network of massive towers that will cover each continent in a well-tested Lalafell sedative.
