Unable to use Visa debit (north American)

Paypal works for me. It's what I've been using to buy crysta for years anyway, but I've had no problem using it since the change, so maybe OP can try that. I have my debit card linked to that and use it that way.

Visa debit is what I use and it's been fine for a long time. At the moment, I don't intend to adjust my subscription, but if I did it would be shocking for them to not accept one of the main types of cards in the world. How can it be a thing to not accept Visa? It's not like banks always give you a choice.

it wouldn't surprise me if, like the lodestone and the online store, this infrastructure is supported by like two guys and duct tape. Square Enix really needs to invest in more IT for stuff actively outside the game itself, especially with (gestures to the multiple topics in the forum about this).

not meaning to rain on the dump on SE parade, but most issues I have ever had with credit/debit cards tend to be the bank.

not saying it couldnt possibly be SE, but if the bank denies the charge... SE has no other option except to say "no". I know its a pain, but have you asked your bank?

This one is very specifically the payment processor.
A quick look at all the other topics about it and the issues everyone is happening, especially right after an official announcement that their payment processor is changing should make it very obvious it isn't just someones bank.

It's not my bank because it allows same denied card to be used on PayPal and I've used this card for years on mogstation i have to use mom's credit card to Even update my retainers

not saying it 100% is, but you can generally call your bank to find out and talk to a real person just to make sure. it eliminates one potential cause. otherwise, even if SE changed the payment system to work, it could still be an issue. I was just suggesting eliminate that first
