Unable to use Visa debit (north American)

At least in EU there is progress now but it's only about a specific issue for a very popular French payment option, so who knows what this means for others. :/

At least EU got an update on the NA lodestone we still haven't got any update for a fix for VISA debit issues. I been even trying to buy a timecard on Amazon and they seem to have been unavailable for roughly 2 weeks as well and not been restocked yet and none of the other methods like paypal and amazon pay works for me either with my debit card on the mogstation. I'm hoping if they plan on fixing the payment issues for EU by the 23rd hopefully it will get fixed around the same time for NA/SEA and other regions as well. Looks like they posted a update shortly after I replied and implementing a fix for VISA debit on the 23rd as well.

They better after taking this long to fix a payment method that was fine for over a decade.

Tomorrow is going to be the maintenance that's supposed to fix the Visa issues, in the USA at least, and a similar issue in France. Once the deed is done, can the people affected please give us an update it things are actually fixed? (I'm not in either of these countries, so I can't check myself.)

I use a Mastercard debit card and I have been having this problem does the visa fix include fix for Mastercard debit too?. I don't know how long it's been an issue since this is my first time trying to buy anything from the Square Enix Mogstation. The funny thing is that I was able to buy the actual game and the DLCs from the Square Enix store, but when it comes to the Mogstation, none of my payment methods work - not my Mastercard debit, not PayPal, and not Amazon Pay.

So I basically bought a game that I won't be able to play once my trial is up because I won't be able to pay for the subscription. It's safe to say that this will be my first and last time buying anything from Square Enix ever again, and it has very much soured my experience - I don't even want to play the game anymore.

I may be just one person, but I'm sure many other people will stop buying from them if it's just going to be like this. It is so unprofessional and I imagine they've already lost millions from people unsubscribing and moving to other MMORPGs. There are several new MMOs coming out and I might just join them, because this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I've never played a game where you can't buy anything with any of the available payment methods.

What's worse is that this has apparently been an issue for more than 6 years and is still not fixed. That's so disturbing and Square needs to get their act together.
