Clarity on whether the PvP Series 1 "Archfiend" set will be available any other way?

Please point to the "elites" you speak of that actually have the gall to say Battlepass gear should not return when Trophy Crystals were advertised to eventually have this function...

I genuinely am curious because actual pvp veterans, elites and the like have yet to say that where I can read it and this isn't about a pretend-boogieman having a pretend-problem.

I got it and I don't think it should remain exclusive. It was a reward for reaching malmstones, and if they let you buy it for trophy crystals you'd still have to reach a certain amount of malmstones to buy the set. All past rewards should be available like that so people can get into pvp at any time and be motivated by an ever extending list of rewards.

Oh look it's me from 2022. I still think these rewards should be made available to newcomers. Either through trophy crystals, or they could make the series rank 30 reward be a token that can be used for past rewards. Then if you already have all of them you could stop at rank 25.

By all means, it's not Trophy Crystals then and instead a special token. Yet you don't want to humor me and instead want to pretend there are people out there that genuinely have an issue for, and I repeat, battlepass rewards specifically returning at some point. Specifically those types of rewards I have not seen any large pushback to return, as it was highly anticipated since at least Battlepass Series 3.

This isn't about "any sort of PvP rewards" that has pushback mentioned. It is specifically Ranked and specifically NOT Battlepass rewards because in those threads we generally agree with the latter returning with no issues. These are not to be conflated with each other.

The Series rewards is YoshiP's answer to people crying for old PvP rewards to return, that's why you're not there to tell people how it shouldn't return unlike ranked rewards. If these rewards were part of ranked, then it would be same issue, same conversation, rinse and repeat.

You can stop hunting every single post that mentions old PvP rewards, it was already stated by YoshiP himself back in 2019 that there are no plans for it to return (reference).

You made a notion that they should be careful ere elites will come to them to disagree with their wish of the Archfiend set to return, which is both wrong and absolutely ridiculous as well. Upon asking of you to provide examples of "elites" who have shown behaviour as you claimed you essentially moved the goalpost by not only avoiding to provide examples, but by starting to conflate two different arguments altogether, both that of Ranked rewards and that of Battlepass rewards, as highlighted here:

Your answer consisted partially of notions to ranked rewards being discussed to death (which I did NOT bring up until YOU did), no mention about what we as "elites" said specifically about Battlepass items and then the rest what was in the slideshow about Battlepass items.

I will repeat my point - I do not know a single soul in this game that genuinely has an issue with the return of Battlepass items, which you insinuated that there are people that do.

No, the response isn't late, but you seem to have failed to catch the sarcasm. The blame can be on me for that, which is perfectly fine, and while reading sarcasm over text can be difficult, I suppose for next time I just have to add the /s at the end for people to understand it right away.

Whenever I read your responses, sometimes I find them very insightful and interesting to read, shown respect and objectivity, however sometimes you get riled up for no reason whatsoever and have really bad emotional shifts. It seems to affect your psyche in some way. These forums, aside from being unregulated, will have its share of trolls and idiotic remarks by people, but I have my view of being as objective and calm as possible, regardless of what absurd things people try to shove into me. I've spent years partaking in conversations on forums and I do encourage people to take breaks from it, because lack of moderation does tend to get into people's heads. Very often.

And before you jump into some sort of conclusion I'm trying to take a hit at you, I'm speaking here with as much respect as humanly possible, because we're over text after all. Had we been speaking over voice chat or face-to-face, my tone would be much different.
