Looks like Reaper is getting something related to communio and something related to gluttony. The communio something is most likely either a flat upgrade or a follow up move. The gluttony thing could be a followup move to Gluttony, or it could change to something under enshroud. My hunch is the latter. And also that the gluttony thing is the benchmark move.

take this with a grain of salt since I can't personally validate it, but someone on reddit posted some datamined info from the trailer, and it showed enkindle bahamut skill transforming to enkindle phoenix transforming into a third skill. If true, this is pretty huge.

it implies not only a third burst summon, but also potentially the death of the two minute DPS meta (unless the lego skills no longer take up a full minute) but also means that the new summons could be locked behind the third enkindle phase.

I can't understand anything about this code thing, but I went there and asked why everyone thinks that the new demi is a bahamut when it's written 'unknown' in the string. And somebody replied that they discovered a /petsize command for a 'SolBahamut'

Because the line they are referencing is one for Enkindle Bahamut, which goes into Phoenix and then unknown. Is about time we get a new Demi, if only to break the 120s staleness.

Honestly, I'm not sure if they'll extend the rotation from 120 to 180s.

If the Golden Bahamut thing unfortunately turns out to be true, I think it will just be a level 100 reskin with changed animations and maybe an additional feature like the PvP megaflare x).

Anyway, if all of this is true and it's a third new Demi, the fact that it's still Bahamut is more than disappointing.

I mean, Demi-Odin, Demi-Alexander, or something else would have been perfectly fine...

Anyway, I hope all of this is false, although there wouldn't be any reason for it to be...

I always thought they would go either for 3 new gemstones or a new demi, not both (because it would be a lot for just 10 levels). While I'd prefer new gemstones with different gameplay mechanics for the Firebird Trance, I understand that if we get a demi now, that becomes the most obvious way to expand the job in 8.0.

I strongly believe it is just Fester 2. If you go and watch the current fester animation in slow speed, you can already see some small lightning orbs at the end

Its kinda lame if it is just "Fester 2". I would think they would want to show off something more than that, because that won't exactly enthuse people.

Apart from the fact we technically shouldn't know what it is, so drawing conclusions based on that is flawed. The point of the benchmark isn't to get you hyped for jobs, that is the point of the job action trailer, where, you still won't know what the actions are, but have everything in more context.

Not convinced by MCH new skill, it feels a bit uninspired to have the same skill back to back. Maybe the job action will be better...?
