(after a nights sleep, i at least no longer feel that lighter colors clash so much with the various gear sets. at least with Her.)

With Rothgals, it just feels like winter gear. The Serpent Elite Set. ^

(The original arts had her mostly with straight normal ears. but with some angle and movement, i took the liberty of adding the curved points.)

Does anyone remember how often, even just a loose timeframe, they added more hair to the male Hrothgar? Curious what kind of timeline I should expect to see the Hrothgals get a wider variety of hair like the men did.

The hairstyles for Males Started in 6.2 (Technically 6.1 but... less said about the ear fiasco the better since 6.2 was basically fixing the ears that 6.1 messed up) and managed to add some up to 6.5 (6.51 technically). The males got a total in that time of 24 hairstyles. Out of those 24, 6 were on release additions (Island Sanctuary, Cash Shop, Eureka Orthos, and Variant Dungeons), 7 were added as Base Hairstyles (Male exclusive), and the other 11 were back-logged from older content (Only one back-log was from the Cash Shop). Using this Male Hrothgar got about 4 to 5 hairstyles per patch cycle. Fortunately only two hairstyles are Cash Shop Exclusives so at least they aren't focused on pumping those out first it seems.

Now the bad thing about the Benchmark is well... unless you bring in your character from the game to the Benchmark you can't see earned Modern Aesthetics hairstyles and even when you do that you can't see them on a Hrothgal since well you can't make one in game yet.

So yeah, my hopes are that maybe they don't have the free base from other races (probably takes some time to figure out what works with a Hrothgar and what doesn't) but maybe if we are lucky we'll have at most the 18 choices the males have from the Modern Aesthetics they can learn. But that is a lot of hope so I would be happy if they managed to have 4 to 6 of those ready at the launch of Dawntrail and then back-log the others until the females catch up to the males. Granted this is also probably stretching it and unfotunatly it might be more along the lines of "Please Look Forward To It" in 7.1 :/

Maybe putting in requests to unlock the face locked hairstyles as well in a future patch (Would be nice to not have this limitation) since that should be an easy fix that adds 12 hairstyles to each face for both males and females, of course I could be wrong and it's a whole mess that I'm not seeing since I can't see what they are working with. Anywho hopefully this info dump was helpful ^^'

(Totally not biased because I made my Hroth similar to Big Kitty Goth GF and want to feel special once I play as her. I really do like the Beach one though, looks very soft and fluffy.)

One would hope all the hairstyles added to Viera and Hrothgar over the 6.X patches would be available immediately when 7.0 launches for the Hrothgals.

But given that they're never going to fix hats, and decided not to fix the face/hair lock problem with character creation Hrothgals, I can see them intentionally releasing hairstyles a few every patch to give the illusion of progress since they have nothing else to offer Viera and Hrothgar except some hairstyles.

After my previous post I had the same thought. I tried to sort of combine the two I had made before with some other tweaks and I'm pretty pleased with the result. I think this is the Hrothgal I'll be using when I give them a try after the MSQ.

I always hoped they would look big and strong, but this is beyond my wildest dreams (in a good way) and I'm truly grateful for it.
