Does anyone remember how often, even just a loose timeframe, they added more hair to the male Hrothgar? Curious what kind of timeline I should expect to see the Hrothgals get a wider variety of hair like the men did.

it's been so long, it feels like history.

The question is, what else is in priority when it comes to the character models and hairstyles, that will slow it down/delay its implementation.

I honestly cannot say/think atm.

Rn they're likely in QC mode, til Expac Day.
After that is Minor Patching/Major Patch Run up with a side of adding stuff that need to be adjusted.

Seeing as the "First Graphical Update" will be in its first phase.

Will they spend time making armors/gear/glamour fit the new graphics. or would they plan that on occasional hold/releases.

Maybe they already have a plan, and set schedule for things to be released.

in the end, we can only hope it's soon enough.

While a shame for most that the hairs are locked again, it's not the end of the world.

And we will demand them as time goes on.

Very loosely, every 'major' patch (so, .1, .2, .3, etc) they add 6 older hairstyles. If there's an entirely new hairstyle added for everyone in between that, it generally works for Viera and Hrothgar as well without needing to wait for a catch-up patch later.
Currently Hrothgar are a bit behind Viera in the unlocking process because first they needed a bit more time to making them work on Hrothgar, and then they experienced another delay because of the Hrothgar ear snafu.

Considering how much they seem to value parity between the male/female counterparts, I'd say there's a good chance female Hrothgar will launch with most, if not every, hairstyle (or the female exclusive equivalent) they have currently added to male Hrothgar.

But that's just speculation on my part based on how they've done things so far, so don't take that as gospel.

While I still plan on going through Dawntrail as a female roegadyn, I think I'll dabble into furrydom by doing a temporary fantasia into a hrothgal when levelling alt classes and such. I'm super happy with their looks and general selecation of options, even if the 3 hairstyles per face is annoying. Really looking forward to seeing these lionmommies running around Eorzea!

Every patch x.1, x.2, x.3, x.4 and x.5. But they should have the same amount of hairstyles a the males once the game hits. Male Hrothgar are 2 patches behind Viera. I don't know if there will be new hairs for 7.0, but we might get a new batch in 7.1. But yeah, if you want to see the hairstyles that we should have as female Hrothgar (besides the ones in the benchmark), you will have to see the hairstyles female Viera had up to 6.3, so I would say around 20 or so unlockable and base hairs.
