When I first saw this post, I was instantly sceptical. Later on in the topic, they say they play on PS5, so no shaders, however, you can still use gpose to alter what the game looks like. Now, whilst I am no expert on gpose by any means, after a quick look through, I suspect the lighting filter 'Bright 2' was used for the screenshots. If you go into character creator and try and match the skin tone, you cannot do it either. Nothing is that red. Couple that with the fact the pic doesn't even come close to matching the forum picture. With that, I would say it isn't an accurate representation of what the character looks like before.

They also mentioned the pupils are darker in the update, however, colour matching as best I could on the yellow eyes, the pupils are still dark. The top before pic has eyes that are partially closed with the light reflecting off, which is going to minimise the size of the pupils 'space' in the eye relative to everything else, and making them look 'lighter', when, infact, it's just a combination of angle and filter. The second pic is also a bad one as the character is looking right, so the eye is obscured by the face and again, the pupils are pretty non existent, just because they basically aren't shown.

Now, the face markings and the 'nose smudge' are things that could be darkened. However, it is an example to show just how different a character can look just from using even in the ingame tools to alter screenshots.
It's possible they're using a gpose filter, though the things they're complaining about the most aren't gpose/shader related, since many Roe players complain about the nose tip being lighter and it has nothing to do with filters. They also seem to be screenshots they'd previously taken during normal play, not as a direct one-to-one comparison of specific colours like skintone. The things they complained about are accurate, it's just that their chosen screenshot isn't the best representation of their point. Not an attempt to fool people, as that other person has been trying to convince everyone.

However, that's just one post that's complaining about the changes that uses a gpose filter, and it unfortunately does not discredit all the other complaints.
