You probably could've found a way to say that without being an ass about it. Or perhaps just not at all.
And like someone else said, I haven't seen any screenshots using very obvious shaders. Try to be less of a bootlicker, please.
No I haven't. There are some criticisms I agree with. So another example of dishonesty going on right here. Are you okay? You've been all over this morning in multiple threads, making an effort to shut down as many people raising legitimate complaints as possible. It's bordering on gaslighting and the language you're using is deliberately inflammatory. What is your attachment to this?
It sound like I hit a nerve, if anything. I'm so glad you haven't noticed any unusual photos, I guess that puts it all to rest. Thanks!

Literally what does that even mean. What goal do you seek to achieve by being rude and insisting people are lying? What would please you? There's enough people saying they're unhappy with the changes who didn't use shaders, so in the off chance that someone did use shaders and was unhappy, that doesn't invalidate everyone else's stance. So what's the point? Be clear and mature about your answer: what gives?

Where in my first post did I say everyone is using shaders / lying? I said this is why I do not trust everything I am reading-- because there is a chance that the photos being produced are inaccurate or misleading. That does not mean someone is using a shader, but they could be. What is your insistence on feeling targeted by this statement?
How would I think everyone has used a shader/lying when I agree with multiple issues in the graphics update...? You can keep lying about me, I don't care and I will respond as I see fit.
Literally same imported settings, no gamma correction, same location, disabled any kind of color correction or shader that could possibly influence it, even went out of my way to make sure that it's at the exact angle by using those windows behind them, and it still looks like a totally different character. And not in the good 'wow her textures are so much better' way, in the 'Since when does she have dimples? Why is her face so much rounder and softer?' kind of way.
Grow up or all you'll find yourself in is arguments. You're so full of it that it's coming out of your ears. So carefully nitpicking and choosing words so the person you're talking to is always somehow in the wrong. "Where in my first post" you're not fooling anyone with that one. "What is your insistence on feeling targeted by this statement?" isn't slick either. Act like an adult or you'll get treated like a child.Where in my first post did I say everyone is using shaders / lying? Yes, certain features are present now. But I also think the new version doesn't look bad, it just looks like they wanted to give the face more detail vs the original face which is more flat with some shadow that seems imply dimples should be there but just aren't. It's impossible to know if this is how she was always supposed to look per their creative vision, but according to their comments that's what is driving the updates. I don't think it looks like a "totally different character" but if you don't like it, yes it's different enough that I can respect that because not everyone agrees with the new lip shapes, noses, cheeks etc and that's valid. I just don't think your character is ruined, personally, and I'd be curious to see people's reaction to your character in the actual game (as in different environments) once it all launches.

And no I am not saying it's all about other people thinking your characters look good. I think you liking your own character is very important. But I also think getting other perspectives as you're playing the game may result in different feelings about the new model. I guess we will find out. Also *to be clear*, there are instances where I think characters are uglier. This just isn't one, for me, personally.
No one is talking to you, shut up. Please. Or I guess should say you don't have anything to say that's worth engaging with. It's just attacks. You're wasting your time and I've dismantled your accusations already.Grow up or all you'll find yourself in is arguments. You're so full of it that it's coming out of your ears. She did have dimples. You just never saw them before because there was no light scattering coming from a bottom light point before, so they were never seen except as extra shadows on the mouth. The meshes did not change, from what I am given to understand. The pucker around her mouth is from the mesh; the light engine now finally shows it, is all.

Face being rounder? Light effect. Softer? Light subsurface scattering.
Quite literally looks "the same" to me - if it was a photo of a real person, it's the difference between taking a photo with no flash in a dim room , and taking a photo flash turned on.
Tired of all these disingenuous shilling posts. Not everything can be chalked up to lighting and shaders, people know that. Lighting didn't change the literal shape of lips and noses. Lighting sure didn't sand the Moonie's fangs. Lighting didn't give the Lalafell shark jaws. Its okay to criticize some of the changes.
I have gposed her extensively. I even ripped her mesh into blender to play with making HD renders of her so I have seen the sculpt directly with no textures to trick the eye, with textures, with better textures, and with multiple types of lighting. She absolutely did not have dimples. She did have dimples.
