


How about making it fun to play instead of mindless?
You can take your logic to the extreme of adding a literal god mode job, and still argue there must be nothing wrong with it because everyone uses it, so anyone who disagrees is just a clout chasing elitist.
EDIT: This game doesn't even have jobs that are so hard that anyone thinks they have bragging points, where is this insecurity even coming from? I've seen literally zero players with superiority complexes about their chosen class in this game (unless you count certain tanks, but that's less about job/role difficulty). The only thing people are complaining about is jobs becoming so shallow they simply aren't fun to play anymore, who is this strawman who wants "clout"?

I'm not holding my breath /a lot/ though. I don't think they'd just admit they did a bad job with the gameplay redesign. The only thing that I think it's a given is that level 91-100 additions can only bring more into the current design, but I'm not sure if that will be enough, but who knows. Media tour in May probably will shed some light on that.

Yeah, that's exactly why I think it's just not enough: Pre-88 play is really bad, among other things like Phoenix being a carbon copy of Bahamut for no good reason. Did they run out of ideas on how to make the Firebird Trance unique?




They actively made firebird trance worse given that in ShB at the very least it differentiated itself from Bahamut by being a 1-2 rather than just spamming 111111111
