Its because YoshiP is out of touch with the playerbase, duh /sIt's wild how we been screamin for so long about how this was a problem only to get flamed here on these forums. Fast forward Yoshi P confirms how dead the multiplayer aspect is and how he himself has been bored. Id really LOVE to hear from the folks on here that gaslit several posts and acted like everything was just fine. "YaLL ArE dEluSional wE hAvE PLENTY of cOnTEnt"
This dude wrote this as a comment in another thread, and then made a thread because he got a few likes from people that don't do research for themselves. He said nothing about there not being content. There is plenty of content. He said they made the mistake of getting into the pattern of making recent content too repetitive and simple, and accommodating people who want to play this as a single player game when it isn't one.
Here is the direct link when Yoshi is talking about a "more fullfilling gaming experience which would apply to the SOLO AND MULTIPLAYER aspects of the game: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2099153074?t=00h34m39s
SE should just delete misinformation threads. I'm reporting it since Yoshi is not saying anything about the quantity of content, just the quality of it.
People haven't been saying copy and paste job design from stormblood or HW. In a lot of cases people have just more or less complained that the Job design took away things without really bothering to replace or innovate them.Nobody cares about this. Nobody does ultimates or raids. What people are saying is that the game doesn't need to go back to old job design, which is what these forums (being the smallest minority of the players) keep crying about.
I'm happy for you and me that they want to spice things up or whatever, but those of you who beg for button bloat will still never get what you want and that's what makes me sleep soundly at night.
In reality people just want Job design to be more in Depth and Interesting, which doesn't have to go back to "old job design". Also depending on the same Formular such as EW's (Which is easier Shb) for too long will make the game stale quickly for people actually interested in that Job design.
People are also not asking for "More buttons" in fact I'm in favour of Optional Auto combo, Merging some more AOE's into standard cleave attacks ect. The more space we have free will allow for more fun rotations espically on jobs such as tank's which are just 1,2,3 press burst.
Feedback is important you may disagree with it and yeah it's not just the forums that are complaining about job design, their actually a lot of people I know who dislike the current design, the outcry for 2minute meta is spread way further then "forums".

With all sincerity, take the video you posted, open the transcript, copy and paste it to word and read it. You can even do a search for the word content.I have time today troll Start at 2:30 since we tryna slander for no reason.

Mr. Happy doesn't even interpret Yoshi's comments on a more fulfilling gaming experience as "We need more content" which is exactly the headline of the comment you made the other day and your leading post here.
It's not slander, you're just wrong and dont have the emotional range to apologize when corrected and move on. Instead you're doubling down when all the proof is now in TWO videos, which one of them you have included yourself.
Yoshi is speaking to QUALITY and not QUANTITY of content.
Being schooled on emotional range by someone with lucifer in their name might be one of wildest things ive ever heard but anyways i digress...Listen derailer...my comment is a catalyst for the much more obvious issues with ffxiv and i was simply making a reference to the MANY threads posted here on these forums by leading with that specific issue. You picked it apart and bravo because i should have been more specific but let's not sit here and act like the content itself is super engaging regardless of how much fluff there is to do. So here lets be specific since we are picking apart words and yes Im still doubling down...content structure is hamster wheel, severe over simplification, ridiculous amounts of attention to solo content in what is supposed to be an MMO, and for what its worth most people are only keeping subs to either afk in limsa or not lose their houses. Fyi ive been here since beta 1.0 so ive seen it all with this game so my passion for its success is different from yours. When u and other players get ur fill u leave and dont look back. Some of us who have been here since day one actually care about the games success and not just here for a good time to jump to the next fun ride elsewhere. With all sincerity, take the video you posted, open the transcript, copy and paste it to word and read it. Death Is Only The Beginning....
I 100% knew you were going to move the goal post. Bravo! Maybe you should have edited your post to include this all of a sudden explanation to what you "really meant". Also, being here day one means nothing to someone that has been here a single year less than thatBeing schooled on emotional range by someone with lucifer in their name might be one of wildest things ive ever heard but anyways i digress...Listen derailer...my comment is a catalyst for the much more obvious issues with ffxiv and i was simply making a reference to the MANY threads posted here on these forums by leading with that specific issue. Us long time fans have been with Yoshi for a while, which is really why it's even more egregious for you to spread misinformation when he was extremely clear in what he was saying. Good luck on clarity in your next post.
