Lol except cash shop is OPTIONAL. So really you need to drop that and trust me. Alot of us would pay a few dollars more.

Also guessing you in usa. I'm in canada and pay way more then you folks do for the ffxiv sub and retainers. So if I'm willing to pay a few bucks more then that's saying something.

Actually could probably bet you the universe that the game wouldn't really lose any players over this if it happened and not lose lol.
