Lol, Totally worth the wait time. I am actually thinking about popping nidhogg extreme in mentor roulette because l heard it is almost impossible to clear.

If you aren’t doing anything for an extended period of time and use said time to pop nier to ruin 23 other people’s day are you really playing ffxiv

Uhm... no, thank you?
I'm already miffed about how much of the MSQ roulette content lost its identity because of the silly reworks, all to save, what? 10 minutes of your day?.

If you popped them because you enjoy doing them, let them whine or they can take the penalty. I personally don't care what raid pops, I'll run it regardless.
If you're popping them with the intent of wasting people's time and trying to annoy them, I'd argue that's a terrible mindset to have though.

When you (general you) main a role that's designed to be good at recovery/patch up other's mistakes for decades, going into these 'obscure' raids are one of the few remaining vestiges of instances where you can actually see those mistakes being made. As of now, CT and even MotR ARs provides NONE of those. So yes, I'm having fun seeing people screw up so that I can even have the chance to do what I'm there for.
If people go into roulette, they should be prepared to have their time 'wasted' for whatever reason. If people don't feel like dealing with it, then the 30m penalty is there to eat. Roulettes are there partly to help these obscure duties to pop. It's why I find it funny when people choose to whine/blame anybody but themselves instead of just eating the penalty to call it a day.
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."

The number of times Ive seen people purposefully stack the stacks in O9N is ridiculous. Then they act surprised that we wipe.
Besides enforcing MinIlv on CT, imo they should give damage type vulns/debuffs from those stacks during Xande so if you stack the stacks, you get nuked (as you do anywhere else with multiple stacks).
That'll learn 'em.

Still waiting for CT raid retirement. It's time to say goodbye to this old content and turn it into 4 man / solo dungeon.
Still ending up to many times in CT raids through roulette. What a bummer.
Bump

Half-agree. MSQ roulette sucked because it wasn't even really roulette. It would have had a lot better justification for existing as a high-exp, long-form roulette if it had ever contained more than 2 selections.
And it still sucks because of that, frankly I have no idea why the distinction still exists for so few instances.

CT would be much easier to fix compared to Coils, at least; the biggest problem CT has is that the player numbers are so big you can totally ignore any non insta-kill mechanics, so adding an ilvl sync to them would solve it. Coils has core design issues that would require dedicated dev time to Just Coils to bring it more in-line with other normal content, even if they get added to MSQ roulette rather than Normal Raid roulette to get around the cutscene issue and didn't touch the floors that aren't bosses.
