The perfect answer is just asking at the start of the dungeon something like:
"Hello there! Hey, how comfortable do you feel about <X> ?"
"<Y>" or "<Z>" Response
"Cool. Let's give it a go"
And progress through from there.

I know the trope/joke for WoW players coming over is they don't communicate at all (even though this has happened before they've arrived), but really communication is key. The WoL might have echo past/mind seeing powers, but you sure don't.

Literally no one actually wants to bother with this every single run, when it's almost certain everyone already agrees from a quick look at their character sheet and gear. I've no idea why people keep posturing with this "communication you guys!" stuff when you know full well it's annoying having to ask a permission to what is tantamount to simply playing the game.

Just ask when you know you want to do something vastly different from what 99% of the player base prefers.
