Oh man, can you imagine if every size of house could be built on every single plot? Effectively giving every house a large yard space inevitably changing details about the landscape. Something I think many homeowners would lose their minds over.

It'd be hilarious. small houses would just have bigger yards lol.

For some people it'd actually probably be an aesthetic choice too (see below). I don't mean like "adaptive" landscape or anything crazy like that either, just all plots have large lawns, so they can accommodate all houses sizes without changing the price of house being built itself, so to speak. It'd require some restructuring of the landscape basically. It's certainly possible, everyone would just have to re-do their outdoor furnishings. It's not as quite as massive as an actual expac zone and obviously doesn't need to be as filled with scenery

I kind of think thats what they should have done from the start personally, maybe people wouldn't feel as griefed about it; but there's still potential for housing to be an issue due to the number of houses simply being exceeded by active players. It was an issue kind of evident in spite of the lottery system, because you'd see people placard clicking anytime a small was available. I think it'd still be that way even in the absence of the lottery without a system free of auto-demo that's adaptive to fall back on.
