I don't think premades are such a big thing as people make them out to be.
People generally playing like they had blinders on and reacting at snail speed is what is making you lose that game.
New Shatter is awful. Why make changes that encourage PvE instead of PvP in an objective based PvP mode? Previous EW version was a step-down from the ShB version but better than the current dross. Please revert to ShB version of Shatter, kkthx bye.
It isn't always, but when a team has one it's obvious. Even more obvious when one is on your alliance or multiple matches in a row. You'll see 4 people act in tandem (sometimes a bit too perfectly, making me think bots or tools is involved) and they will rack up early kills and even BH5, and usually win handily.
You can't always blame it for the loss, and sometimes teams are just more on the ball. But it does highlight other issues. The range of Hard CC in PVP that is very potent in Frontlines, and the games issue with not rejecting all types of automated inputs.

Maybe elsewhere, but on NA Premades plague every single frontlines match, especially in the evenings and its disruptive enough especially on Seal Rock/Onsal to force wins in favor of the team with the premade. Theres hardly any point even trying to fight against the premades sometimes. Even with a decent team the Dark/Dark/AST/DRG combo will wipe your team, and if their alliance joins in on the antics, it doesn't even matter if you guard, you get caught in the salted earth, you die. Imagine playing this, every single day, every single time you queue into Frontlines.
The best part of all this is, the premades don't always win because the maps are so poorly designed (Shatter cough cough.) That player kills ultimately don't matter when the RNG gods decide to throw a choice S node in an inconvient place, or they chose to kill players instead of ice, and lost as a result. I don't get satisfaction from winning in those instances personally.
On Aether the premades are on about half the time I am, or rather when I would like to be. More at weekends. I just can't be bothered with it. Really remarkable how a small group of curb-stomping clowns make the mode unplayable for everyone actually interested in good PvP matches. The only people who tolerate it are the "chill, bro, I'm just here for the XP" crowd.Maybe elsewhere, but on NA Premades plague every single frontlines match, especially in the evenings and its disruptive enough especially on Seal Rock/Onsal to force wins in favor of the team with the premade. The opinions of the random "Chill bro free XP" crowd are the only ones Square Enix seems to value, which is why we're likely to see them double down on putting out absolute trash map reworks like Shatter in the future. In reality, the "Non PvP" crowd should be completely disregarded. Especially when some of them advocate for just flat out removing PvP on the basis that our players are "toxic and hurtful". Maybe they should do some PF savage raids if they think the rest of this MMO's community is all puppies and rainbows.
I'm sure we'll see them continue to come out of the woodwork dismissing the PvP communities concerns as usual, because it's just "side content", or a "silly minigame". If they applied their logic to the Savage raiding community they'd be torn to shreds and clowned on.
While not problem, holy batman these people are annoying...
Saw a while back legit /alliance chat fight between "herp derp, let's lose fast!" the guy and several people farming Seal Rock for Fielcommander coat + people who were generally just not ok with defeatist attitude and bad faith.
This time the farmers won, his party kicked derp rouletter out and that alliance actually won.
Honestly after replaying Rival Wings, I just want them to make a separate balance outside of CC because my god, it's much worse
lol thats kinda funny Chill bro go get your exp somewhere else
