They have constantly devalued incredibly expensive eureka items in these events so that is pretty blatantly false

A eureka minion like 2 events ago dropped from 11 million to like 40 thousand due to one of these events, I’d say about the only things safe are the eureka equipables like Cassie

On the other hand, a lot of items still retain value, the hairstyle from Zandor is a nice passive income for me that has been in events in the past. I think when items get completely crushed in a Moogle event is telling they have no real intrinsic value other than the scarcity. Part of the reason why I don't really go after minions.

Yes and no. I've done that and made some millions when supply ran dry...but it took probably 2 years of just sitting on a bunch of items which is not really worth it. It's also entirely speculation whether or not the supply runs dry enough in the first place because those items could show up again in the next moogle tomes event.

It is a gamble for sure but for example, I do know that inefficient petticoats from the last event are going to go up in value until at the very least 7.1
and it's already commanding a price of 600k per on Balmung.
