Maybe can we agree that the spell effects should not look 'realistic?'

Definitly ! That's not the problem here. Most people seemed bothered by :

- The cartoon aspect
- The lack of resolution

I would personnaly add "too many colors" + Kawaii elements, but that weren't as problematic for the majority.
