Patch 6.51 was released on October 31st, I think? Since then we've had:
November 20 - Emote: Eat Pizza, and Pepperoni Pizza Set
December 15 - Authentic Illuminated Tree, Mount: Starlight Steed (Single Character), and Emote: Joyous Leaping

Skimming through the news tracker on the Lodestone, most major patches usually have at least 1 update afterwards for optional items, but thats not really at the same time as a patch is released. Maybe I'll try to make a timeline sometime for when optional items get added and when patches come out.



The items are added in with major patches, and then released on the Mogstation later.



It's been this way since the cash shop released in late 2014.
