Well, it looks like I lost my house despite visiting it often enough to keep it. I was vigilant enough for years to keep my house, but the game didn’t care. Anyway, my stuff is at the resident caretaker and I don’t have enough free space to get everything back. Am I just going to lose all of my housing collection?

When I go in, I usually sit on my couch and log off. Sometimes I get my stuff mended in my house. I like to run around and look at my stuff.

New problem. Since I lost my house I’m trying to buy a new one elsewhere, but it says “You are not authorized to purchase or relinquish land”. Why?!

Edit: Nevermind. It’s because it’s for FC’s only. It also looks like I can’t buy a house until I collect my hundreds of junk I had in my house storage which now I have no room for. God damn it!!!

If you entered your house, it would have not gone off, so obviously you did not.

What you perhaps did is go to your fc house instead of your personal, and then you forgot about your personal, that I can believe, but there is absolutely 0 way that what you mention would happen. It's literally impossible.

If the timer hits 31+ days since entering the estate, you will receive a message in the chat log once you enter the estate telling you that the timer has been deactivated.

Entering the estate is the only thing that resets, deactivates the demolition timer.

Mao said "some peoples been reportings". Mao is not wrong. Mao saw people makings them claims. Mao made no assumption abouts what was happenings.

While not the best solution and you may not want to give SE money at this point, can you hire one extra retainer for a single month to free up some inventory space? You can then put the furniture in the extra retainer while you try to get a new house. You don't need to maintain the subscription for it – you can let it lapse and they'll keep holding your stuff. And wait until the later part of your subscription month so you get the cheaper pro-rata hire cost.

Or can you be ruthless enough with what inventory you currently have to make space to collect it and sort through what you need to keep? Maybe once you claim it, you can store a lot of it at an apartment or FC chamber.
