Best online Multiplayer game: BG3. When I did read this, the whole contest has lost reliability, the co-op part of BG3 is absolute trash.

And I'll be honest with you - what you're offering is nothing more than a personal opinion that sounds like one of those conspiracy theories people love to come up with on the internet. My opinion is that SE won last year because they are actually putting out a quality product that a lot of people very much enjoy.

Timing is everything, consider what just happened to blizzard just before the game awards. And I'll be honest with you - what you're offering is nothing more than a personal opinion that sounds like one of those conspiracy theories people love to come up with on the internet. And FF14 didnt get anything this year, try and think why.
SE isnt really great, and this whole expansion why its longer patch Candence, less content per patch and they are shorter lived.
SE wasnt even communicating that much at the start of Endwalker either, and it got lot less as it went on.
You are just both a new player to FF14 and a bitter wow player.

"Nobody cares about the awards" until your favorite game wins, then all of the sudden it feels great and makes you smile.
Honestly, the awards show is a great tool for companies to advertise their games. And SE definitely made use of it for FF7Rebirth.
FFXIV is just the plan B when they have no anticipated game.
I'm a player not a shareholder, I couldn't care less if the game wins an award nor will it "feel great and make me smile""Nobody cares about the awards" until your favorite game wins, then all of the sudden it feels great and makes you smile.

I play a game because I enjoy it, I couldn't care less if it gets awards.

Winning awards shouldn't be what makes or breaks a game i think awards are useless in general. FF14 is a good enough game to play without winning awards and has won awards for multiple years. Why does not winning awards this year matter it doesn't ruin the fun of the game for not winning when it has won for multiple years previously. All the awards show is about is devs buying votes and has shown in the past that even with community votes the company dishing out the most money to win ends up winning anyway which doesn't make the awards genuine anyway."Nobody cares about the awards" until your favorite game wins, then all of the sudden it feels great and makes you smile.

That is when the true Vana'diel of legend will be reborn.

Personally, I always ask myself "Would Geoff Keighley give this game an award?" before I even think of playing a game. I think that's healthy.

My friend and I were both confused about Alan wake winning too, we couldn't find anyone we knew who had even played the game at all or knew what it was even about.
After the awards I still have no idea what it's about.

I mean did it deserve it?
Lets be frank, the game isn't at a peak at this moment of time even the most ardent of defenders will find it hard to argue that, a bit of the SHB shine is now going off.
Maybe XIV will come back strong with DT after what I've come to call midwalker , but currently I dont think XIV was at the level it deserved a TGA this year at least.
