The wind is blowing the smell of the chip shop across the street directly at the house and lord, I don't think I have the strength to resist

Day 1568 of malding that I can't turn off airship/submarine cutscenes when sending them out.
So our gas guy came and didn't have to fill our gas tank much. Turns out our meter got wonky from the lawnmower guys blowing grass and dirt everywhere and knocked it off of the thing.
We thought we were at 20% for our tank, turns out we were full. He recommended us to duct-tape the meter back on so it doesn't get knocked off again.
So we didn't have to cook our turkey in the microwave this year.
Frowny face at the microwaved turkey and the pantry smelling like semi-cooked turkey for three days.
This one is beyond your help. Only sleep can save her now.
Tried playing Ys 1. Got my bum handed to me by the very first enemy multiple times D: Man, Falcom didn't mess around back in the day.
I've only ever played through Wanderers from Ys III. That shit was hard, but when I beat it back in the day, I felt really accomplished.
In the Tigray Quarry I'd grind till I had like 100 HP. Then proceed to kill the first boss for the Longsword. Then I'd grind till I had enough money for an amulet to use on the real boss. Generally came outta there with around 130~140 HP. Amulet is really the MVP item in that game I feel.
Then in Eldam Ruins I'd grind on the first few enemies repeatedly until level 16 (max level). That sweet, sweet 255 HP would carry me hard, and I could generally afford the Banded armor and Broadsword from the shop.
Everything would feel manageable/easy until Balencentine Castle. Jesussss christ that was a hard dungeon. And the game only continued to stomp me in the nuts from there on out. But I did beat it! Suck my balls, Galbalan!

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
I've done a third playthrough of Divinity Original Sin 2. I've started Elden Ring again. I have legit had more fun in combat playing those games than I've had in 14.
I played 14 for the story but I think that's run its course lately. So I think it's time to say my goodbyes.
Also, getting Baldur's Gate 3 and a few weeks holiday this month. I was waiting for them to patch up the problems and now it seems good to go!
I'M COMING, KARLACH!
