Speaking of controllers... I think my beloved Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 (very inspiring name) might be giving up the ghost. At random times it will become unresponsive for a few seconds, it might lose connection to the wireless receiver, or it might register a bunch of button presses when I haven't done anything. These issues are rare, but the fact that they're happening at all is concerning.

I love this controller. I've had it since 2007 or 2008. It's comfortable, has a nice hefty feel, and has the old style digital L2/R2 triggers instead of those analog ones with the long, heavy pull. A few years ago the D-pad was acting up, so instead of spending something like $50 on new wireless gamepad, I spent $14 for a corded F310 and robbed the silicone membranes from under the D-pad and face buttons. Good as new!

I played with a standard PS3 controller until I got a PS4. Then it was a standard PS4 controller up into current day, because it works on PC that I moved to in late SHB.

I didn't get used to holding a PS5 controller until my second playthrough of Elden Ring.

As far as Xbox controllers go, I miss The Duke. Everything after that feels more or less the same Xbox wise.

I sometimes miss the simplicity of the NES/SNES controllers from back in the day though. Before controllers took on these unnecessary angles and grip structures that really just cause them to fall off of your desk and such.

Some dude from my past managed to steal my account because he was upset that I (unknowingly) kicked his sleeper alt from my FC for inactivity. Now he's holding it hostage because he wants to "talk to [me] like we used to."
