The first boss is way too difficult. I don't know what they were thinking. From the flexing on the P8S snake mechanics, the heavy body checks during the bubble exas. Why is there only 3 seconds to move to your add after the spreads resolve? I imagine most people couldn't get past the first boss and just quit trying all together, which is a shame because the other two bosses are a lot funner. The first boss should ease people into the instance. I also think it died faster than the other two criterions.
The difficulty seems very experimental on this one (aka all over the place). Having the most difficult mechanics be the final 3 mechanics of the entire criterion is also a choice. Meanwhile second boss is legit a joke. The first boss is way too difficult. I don't know what they were thinking. It's Final Fantasy XIV. A monthly sub is almost the same price as a gallon of milk. You're not gonna get much out of this game. It's more like a side game that you play in between playing your other games which are way better and have more content. Plus, Square Enix isn't doing so well right now since sales for FF16 tapered off. People are gonna have to lower their expectations as we enter the long and slow decline phase of FFXIV's life cycle.
I was never going to do anything but the Normal version, but I still haven't done even that yet. I assumed finding a group for any of that would be impossible after the first week.
I'm just over here in Canada, with our heavily subsidized dairy industry, absolutely shook by this comment.
Not sure what DC you're on but have you tried checking Aether? That seems to be the place NA players are required to go to now for anything party finder. I'm in a pretty good size FC and even several from it are now living on Aether because of this. This problem is literally detaching us from our long time friends.
SE needs to make Party finder work cross DC ASAP.
Have you tried making three friends?
Very snarky response but I think criterion has been designed like this. Something like your static is done with the tier or otherwise on break so the rest who is still here does criterion as filler. Speaking from personal experience it works very well in that regard.
