Stormy wants to feel special by being a haves in a world of have-nots.Why not, though? What's the reason people shouldn't be able to get exactly the house size they want if they have the gil for it? A new player who manages to save up gil for a Large shouldn't be punished for being new and all the Large plots being taken by vets. I'm perfectly happy with my Small in Ishgard but if someone is a decoration enthusiast, I can't see a good reason to gatekeep mansions.
Pretty much. They've even admitted in a thread a few months back that they have a spreadsheet they use to keep track of when they last entered each of their houses so they can avoid demolition. If they were using the houses at all, they wouldn't need the spreadsheet.
On the other hand, Stormpeaks openly acknowledging such things becomes a good example of what is wrong with the system. In the end, the blame lies with SE for the current housing design. Sometimes it takes players like Stormpeaks abusing what the system intentionally allows before developers will change the system.
For now, they get away with it because it seems like most of the abuse happens on the NA/EU worlds where housing is difficult to get in the first place. While it also happens on the JP worlds, the impact is smaller because their overall populations are much smaller than on the NA/EU worlds. If housing problem for JP was as bad as it's been for the NA/EU worlds, SE probably would have taken more constructive action already.

I was on EU on the most empty worlds, and I am now on Dynamis
please get your facts straight
And yes I do use a spreadsheet, so? What's your point ?
I just have a terrible memory and I'd rather use a spreadsheet to keep track of timers (submarines especially), it aint that deep.
Dude literally just made an account to have a go at me and rage and boohoo about multiowners while being on Dynamis himself which is absolute housing galore with thousands houses across the board
peak comedy really

You love to flatter yourself, but as it clearly states right beneath my head, I made this account in October. Your continued hissyfits, entitlement, and condescending behavior toward everyone interested in discourse surrounding solutions to the housing issue just so happened to be the thing that brought me out from quietly lurking. You deserve the criticism, quite frankly.
