I'm against this feature. They won't add it anyway. Square Enix doesn't even read the English forums.

I'm curious as to why you're against it? The reasoning helps the discussion.

I'm trying to understand the argument against something like this but I'm having a hard time understanding. If venues are simply a virtual house party, then of course the house owner, or a friend of the house owner would be able to say "oh yea, that person is weird, let's not invite them." Is it a dick move? I guess? But that's a very normal thing for irl gatherings.
Do people against something like this consider venues public events that should treated as like a public restaurant irl or something? Where people go and anyone can enter, and you're not allowed to refuse entry to someone as long as they're obviously not causing a scene or something?
As unfair as that could be, it doesn't matter.Imagine missing the point that badly
Player X has their friend Y at their venue
Player Y doesnt like you
Player Y tells X to blacklist you out of the venue even if you havent done anything
You are unable to access X's venue for no reason at all.
But hey, good on you for trying at least
If someone wants to kick you out of their community, out of their venue, out of their home, then they should be able to. If it's not an issue of stalking or misbehavior then it's something you need to bring up with your friends or tell others about. A venue that randomly chooses to kick people out will eventually get a bad reputation for it. If someone in your friend/FC does it to spite you then that's your cue to talk to others about it or leave that group.
This is such an important feature for dealing with stalking and harassment. Childish interpersonal issues aren't enough of a reason not to add it.
There are a lot more important features needed in particular regarding the friend list and also the lodestone. As unfair as that could be, it doesn't matter.

Friends list, lodestone, eternity rings all also need updates too. No one said they didn't. You need to stop being contrarian. Your whole identity on these forums is entirely whataboutism. It's always, "Well yes, this sucks, but so does this."
All of these things need fixing equally. They are all issues.
Blocking people out of venues is not a priority no, sorry, nor should it be implemented at all to be fair.Friends list, lodestone, eternity rings all also need updates too. No one said they didn't. Venues are open spaces, and as for individuals, they can just close their house. That's what I personally do too, I dont need random people in my house.
The lodestone issues which lead to cross region stalking and the friend list issue which lead to actual in person stalking as people know where you are,are the actual issues.
Also fyi it ain't being contrarian, we just disagree, idk why it's riling you up this much.

Venues replicate real life events. Go to a bar/concert/event and piss off the owner/organiser. You will get kicked out.Blocking people out of venues is not a priority no, sorry, nor should it be implemented at all to be fair.

I see no negative to giving in game owners the same power. Their home, their choice.
Bigger issues do exist yes, doesn't mean this can't be done on top of lodestone changes.
They called me a contrarian earlier as well. It's the flavour of the month it seems.
I gave my stance on this already, you could get blacklisted without even upsetting the owner of the venue directly, all it needs is one of the owners friends to not like you and you're blacklisted off of the entire venue even though you might not have done anything. It's too open to personal bias.Venues replicate real life events. Go to a bar/concert/event and piss off the owner/organiser. You will get kicked out.

The focus should be on the other issues I mentioned because they are major issues.
