    And that’s including binding fairy abilities and commands to the normal hotbars because I found using the pet hotbar really clunky, especially back when manual Embrace existed. Well, mashing the button and praying she’d listen to you existed, since apparently the fairy knew better who needs healed first lol

    Truthfully the idea of culling abilities to give us even more space than what we have now terrifies me. Everything will go until every job is just the same abilities with different visual effects (which isn’t far from what we have now really…), because I mean technically every button that’s not high potency direct damage is ‘bloat’ relative to absolute optimisation.
    The space is for unique buttons to take the space, it's not culling for no reason. It's culling because we have too many options that answer the same thing when we don't even answer that problem often. Why would you cull buttons and not provide something to take its place...that's a big yikes from me. lel Although I certainly can see Square totally doing that.
