They never provide any feedback or anything and only come into threads like this to tell people that are 'too critical" to "touch grass" and has nothing else to provide to a topic because people are criticizing there favorite perfect game.

It's just the tribal nature of humanity at play, I suppose. There's people who joke about hating anyone who happens to enjoy pineapple as a topping on a pizza and then there's individuals who make it weirdly personal and cannot grasp the concept of personal tastes that differ to their own.
People who put pineapple on pizza can at least be tolerated. Those who put mayo on it, on the other hand...It's just the tribal nature of humanity at play, I suppose. There's people who joke about hating anyone who happens to enjoy pineapple as a topping on a pizza and then there's individuals who make it weirdly personal and cannot grasp the concept of personal tastes that differ to their own.

Yeah it's something that seemed to have happened for a long time people can't even discuss there favorite consoles or music or any other topic without any sort of tribalism. It's just the tribal nature of humanity at play, I suppose. There's people who joke about hating anyone who happens to enjoy pineapple as a topping on a pizza and then there's individuals who make it weirdly personal and cannot grasp the concept of personal tastes that differ to their own.

This community is so weird and overly sensitive. You're not able to ever say anything negative about this game for some reason, despite it having obvious flaws. You'd think this community would want them addressed and fixed, but nope.

Protein is protein. Gotta get them gains, right?
As an aside, I want to see more 'out there' food in general when it comes to FFXIV's offerings. Just having straight up copies of 'safe' dishes that exist in the real world doesn't really cut it for me. I thought it was pretty cool that WoW had culinary dishes based around spiders. It was fun to have my night elf snack on them around humans in roleplay.![]()

It'd be nice to at least get the Final Fantasy monsters in on the dishes. Even FFXI has the Behemoth Steak. They don't even have to shy away from their love of real world cuisine. They just need to highlight the fantasy/monster ingredient.
They did recently-ish include melon pie from FFXI, which was made with thunder melons. It made me quite nostalgic even though its effect was drastically different.
Unfortunately, FFXIV since 2.0 has not had strong world building. Remember that everything we've gotten has had some precursor lore from 1.0 (outside of certain expansion zones), so I don't have a lot of faith in the current FFXIV development team to even care about / realize the value of world building in an MMO.
Development teams for MMOs have largely forgotten what makes a good MMO and what keeps the experience novel. They keep constantly going for the lowest common denominator with regards to who they're trying to attract to subscribe to the game, and in FFXIV's case they now rely on churn to get new players while the old slowly let go.
Of course, how do you have a novel experience in an MMO in the current era? Where every piece of content is datamined or leaked before it even goes live. Where even if the world design had loads of mystery and opportunities to explore, it'd be ruined by said leaks/datamines. I mean, MMOs in general used to be a novel experience, because online play with a multiplayer RPG was brand new a couple of decades ago. Now it's old hat, so the novelty has to come from something else.
And at every turn, the difficulties that brought people together in MMOs are removed in favor of convenience to the individual. You'd think they'd at least make up for it with quality storytelling or worldbuilding, but I guess they feel like they don't have too.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
