I wish new jobs started at a lower level to give you more time to learn it and make it easier to ease into the class instead of having an entire kit thrown at you when you pick it up for the first time. Unfortunately I highly doubt SE will change their way of starting new jobs and it will start at level 80 and not be attached to any previous class. Also the new jobs are a way for SE to hype up a new expansion and get people to purchase it, the free trial getting stormblood is kind of the incentive for new players to try it out.
