Give DJ/ Roleplay events their own tab

And I did notice your player region, by the way. This is, from what I understand, worse in the North American data centers. The spam here has become a core part of the FFXIV experience. I'm not sure why you're pushing this onto us when EU doesn't have to deal with this to the same extent.

It's actually still pretty bad, which is why I struggle to imagine what some of the NA servers must be like. And it's worth noting the RP community it likes to latch onto was practically invisible prior to this and very rarely featured in PF or shout outside of occasional seasonal events, to the point I was surprised to find out it even existed - I always assumed everyone immediately went to Balmung et al. for that sort of thing. The fact that it has grown so rampant even over here speaks to the sheer prevalence of the current "venue" scene, really.

It had always been a mission of the role play community to grow and expand role play to various other servers. It wasn't until world visit and later DC visit that those goals started to actually happen. Until that point, the role players mostly went to Balmung and for a bit Mateus because finding RP elsewhere was difficult.

1. By adding a role play category or heck even just "DJ/Community Event tab" it will give them a place to advertise. It would then give the people doing roleplay(such as before covid) to then get more attention in the other section without having to resort to the same pf spam.

2. I see the "just remove the shout chat" so often but feel like that's just as narrowminded as what does commenters think of my request. What if I use shout chat for content as well? Why must I make an adjust to having a bad player experience? Perhaps they could do something like novice network and have a seperate tab all together where you get a timer to advertise your place. It would pop up just as standard novice network chat and you can invite players to it, while giving players also the option to reject all of future invites. While this would have it's own problem

3. Fellowships. Kinda acts like some wall of advertisement. Most of these places use the website carrds or something anyways so you could leave a brief description or just your twitch link and have people come to you since honestly I haven't seen fellowship used outside of some questionable things.

As said before. Not out to take bars/dj/afk places away from people. Not here to cause a witchhunt as well but looking to see what could be a happy medium for both parties. Most people here seem to agree that the spam is annoying to some extend, some more than others.
