Alliance Raid Now iLvl Locked, Why??

You can queue for CT whenever you want with whatever gear you want.

And when you do that it will have the exact same impact on people queueing for alliance raid roulette as if you had ilvl cheesed. The exact same people you're saying shouldn't be doing the roulette WILL STILL PUT YOU IN LOW LEVEL RAIDS if they just queue them. It will have literally 0 effect on how often you get a particular raid.

Ilvl cheesers didn't want to do CT specifically for its own sake, they just wanted the roulette rewards in the fastest time possible. There is nobody here saying ilvl cheesing is good. There is nobody here saying go back to how it was. We are asking for a more specific solution that doesn't accidentally hurt players who just want to run the content they've reached in the story.

Your attitude seems to be that roulettes are only for endgame players to get some bonus tomes for doing Aglaia or whatever. Again, this is not what they are for. The rewards are there to make it so that endgame players queue and populate lower level content for players who are still working their way through the story. Preventing endgame players from forcing it to act a particular way for their own benefit is GOOD. Preventing players who are not yet and endgame from using it, through no fault of their own, is BAD.

It sounds like you'd rather have a level 90 player with level 90 MSQ and level 90 gear and no optional raids unlocked force you into CT than a level 90 player with level 73 MSQ and level 73 gear give you a chance to get Ivalice. You're mad at the wrong thing. You make that second player buy marketboard gear and they still can't get you into a level 90 raid.

Where does this end? If it's bad to queue a roulette when you can't do every duty in it are we now no longer allowed to use them to level up jobs?
