I mean as this change does nothing to actually stop you from playing alliance raids, no not really. If you enjoy playing them, nothing in this patch stops you from queue for them Outside the Roulette to have fun there.

But if they want to run for fun they can still queue for the alliance raids Outside the Roulette as I mentioned before.
There they can even preselect the raids to the 5 most fun ones for them.
So no amount of potentially fun activities is kept from these players by this change, only the Roulette rewards.

And I still don't see the Argument for needing those XP as you:

A) still have access to every other Roulette.
B) can't actually do anything with the higher level you gain unless you Progress the story
C) have a number of other jobs to lvl if leaving those exp on the table bothers you.
