I'll have to check when I get home. I looked for a new driver and tried to change Windows 10 settings and FFXIV settings, but the calibration was non-existent or didn't do anything. From what I remember, Windows saw it as a different controller between wired/wireless mode

Correct. Windows does treat the Xbox controllers differently when wired/wireless. (Well done Microsoft. FFS) This does cause an Xinput problem as Rehayem says. This is another issue that Steam can correct by emulating an Xbox 360 controller regardless of what type you're actually using.
