You are the one saying things like "apparently talking to a child is beneath you". You also are saying things like "we are all here to play a game" so essentially we should want to socialize with 13 year olds. It's weird.

Just say you hate kids playing in the same online space you are in and move on

Don't worry, most adults will not want to hang out with children they don't know if given the option. Doesn't mean we hate children.
