Why would you need to weed out minors if you aren't doing adult things? I don't really understand the point of weeding out minors just because you can if you aren't doing anything a minor couldn't safely participate in.

The same reason I wouldn't socialize with a kid irl, it's just weird. I'd rather socialize with people I can relate to and that's certainly not high schoolers. It wouldn't even matter what the topic or activity is, so long as their is socializing it's just more comfortable with no kids.

And this proves my very first original point that underaged players, for SE targeting a younger audience doesn't fit in on this game. Because there are way to many people who think like this here. Also not everyone is going to be relatable, even as an adult. I never get that point. It's only weird because someone made it weird. It's like people are constantly looking for everyone they interact with to be their best friend or something. Everyone is here for the same thing, to play a video game.

Well if you enjoy regularly spending time with minors and relating to them, all the more power to you. *shrug* No one here thinks they will get along with every other adult in existence, but at least we can feel more comfortable and ourselves then policing every little thing we say because a minor is present.

And while there are some very immature adults (I'm honestly shocked based on the behavior here when some people post they are old enough to have played MMOs for 20+ years... lol), the basic likelihood of finding common ground increases when surrounded by other adults rather than children/teenagers. If you ever played games with them on coms you'd probably understand.

This game is rated 13 and older, so because people who are adults choose not to socialize with younger people because possibly they don't have life experiences in common you are making this the fault of the game. Yes it is weird to expect a grown human to socialize with a 13 year old. So hence 18+ FCs and venues. What exactly is wrong with that the game isn't just for 13 year olds it's 13 and up.
