Im really tired of the "I just want to log on after a bad day at work and have fun" crowd getting their way.

I'm all for them getting their way, too, so long as by having said after-stressful-workday content... they don't really just mean not wanting anything to be available beyond that. Just as I'm all for having more involved tasks that can keep people together for a good 90 minutes straight of engagement... so long as that ask isn't simultaneously a desire to remove all else.

Outside of the rare "I only want to heal/Malefic spam" or "I don't want to feel remotely enticed to raid" comments, though, neither of those is the case.

You really believe sprouts have fun using 2 skills and taking 20 minutes to do an ARR normal dungeon.

They don't care about the first boss in Sastasha or the lore about why there is a tiger that suddenly spawns out of nowhere

It doesn't matter if they have fun with it or not because regardless they're only getting those 2 skills because that's all they have at that level.
No removing skills when syncing down means the party of lvl 90s kicks the sprout conjurer because they don't have cure 2 or benediction yet, and they have to do smaller pulls now.

It is exactly how the community has acted when something gets in the way of their efficient farm, and it will happen if they were to ever make that change.

And rightfully so, she's got a livelihood to lose based off of this community's approval of her.
The FF community is rather intolerant to any sort of criticism to their overly modded afk simulator.

Its kinda embarrassing that she needs to open with a disclaimer, out of fear of this award winning community's backlash, for implying this game may have faults.

its most sad that its justified. zepla is extremly polarising figure in the community. many just cant bring themselves to like her or whatever she has to say. i noticed shes tried pandering wayyyy to much to both sides, for example in 1 video she made a "ffxiv is the worst expansion" in another "postive things in dawntrail" and in that video i was actually annoyed, because she backtracked on her previous video and even said "we can look forward to the Xbox players!!!" so i feel a lot of people who try to side with her on 1 point get there opinion invalidated by her on the next, however this could all just be looking into it waay to much. but that said, there are a lot of people on these forums in particular that will try to silance u if you say the game needs help, has faults or is dying. its not being made up. ive had it said to me on mY posts, seen it in others. IDK why these people fear so much the idea of the game improving but its almost like they want to afk haf the year and expect every1 else too for whatever justified reasons

Re: 5 - This is insane to me how hard they make it to get you in game.

The Launcher doesn't have a "Verify Files" button so if something happens to your files? Welp, gotta completely reinstall! Want to keep the game up to date but don't have an active account? "Tough sh!t. Pay us $15 for the privilege of updating your files."

Re: 6 - This has always irritated me. Yes it would be hard to balance but ultimately weapon damage is determined by main hand weapon damage, not potency so a 300 potency attack at lvl 10 does a whopping 30 damage vs a 10 damage (100 potency) ability. Woo hoo, you don't have to cast 2 more times. . .

Point being, it can be done. Easily.

She said she doesn't take the story into consideration but the content. She didn't like the content so there you go. You can criticise something but still be excited for the next part. And I fail to see what new Xbox players have to do with any of that.
