Should the devs appologise to the community

"Should the devs ..." while also saying "Please try to leave constructive replies instead of just saying anything to be heard" fell flat with your first reply to someone else.

My answer: No. This is their game, and we are free to enjoy it, or not. Constructive criticism is all well and good. It has led to numerous Quality-of-Life improvements over the last ten years.

Demanding an apology when suggestions are ignored is pettiness.

So I actually post quite a few suggestion threads of content that might improve the game. But those posts don't get much interaction. U can fact check that by clicking my profile and looking at my post history. But yea those posts don't get any engagement so It feels like the forums don't really want to pitch ideas or improve the game but honestly just to cry and be heard. I took a break from it for 3 days played wow came back and notice nothing much has changed. Take that for what u will but I see that as verification the devs shouldn't actually listen to the forum and now understand why they don't. Yes it's a shame for the % that posts helpful suggestions. But it's allways drowned out by whinning

Says the one who expected change after 3 day break and thinks devs should apologize as if in between xpac patches are equivalent to 1.0...

it is wrong to assume i wanted some appology. in the past i did, way before i even posted this, but i no longer feel that way, i was if anything guaging the general outrage on the foums towards said devs, the replies i got mostly lined up with my own feelings. if anything i was guilty of listening TO much to those loud doomsday voices thinking they were many more than they were

"Says the one who expected change after 3 day break" also i think u missunderstand what CHANGE i was expecting to see, not within the game, thats impossible. but just here on the forums, last i was here it was a lot of doomposting and any feedback or idea threads did just get necro'd. i hoped maybe after a few days some more valuable ones might pop up. it seams not, sadly this 1.. 1 that actually should have died.. is still going

So the whole apology thing was taking into account the same doomsayer that likes to post multiple threads a day? Well, not them specifically, but those agreeing with their rhetoric? If so, then the point flew way over my head and I apologize for that.

But really, I don't think you would see much change here. Forums, specially game forums are holes unhappy people crawls into along with those who are curious or wish to watch the world burn (such as myself), so I highly doubt you'd see much change no matter how long of a break you take. Someone, at some point, will claim that doom it's coming.
