uh, the game didnt change during the past 10 years and it wont change in the next 10 years.

Apparently it did.
It used to be this big edgy hardcore game. And now according to people its becoming Secondlife and Dawntrail is a Vacation Arc.
Plus we had 1.0 and 2.0, but maybe its been long enough that doesnt fit into the 10 year cycle anymore
